About Sandra
Sandra Ardoin
writes historical romance. Her favorite period is the latter half of the
nineteenth century (gotta love those cowboys!), but she has been known to ride
into the early decades of the 1900s to chase an interesting idea. She is a member
of American Christian Fiction Writers and its local chapter Carolina
Christian Writers.
Sandy's first
publishing credits included greeting cards, posters, and devotions. It wasn’t
until she became a stay-at-home-mom that she began writing children’s short
stories and adult fiction for denominational publications. All the while it was in the back of her mind to write a novel. However, the Lord kept saying, “Not yet.” In 2008, she got the
“Okay, now,” and hasn’t looked back. These days, she’s waiting for God to say,
“It’s time to get those novels published.”
She’s the author of “Get a Clue,” in the children’s collection Family Ties: Thirteen Short Stories. Her novels have finaled in various contests and made the semi-final round of ACFW’s 2011 Genesis Contest. Sandy is represented by Diana Flegal of Hartline Literary Agency.
As well as hanging
out here on Seriously Write, she blogs on Tuesdays and Fridays about books and
authors at www.sandraardoin.com. You
can follow her on Facebook,
Twitter, Google+, and Goodreads. And don’t forget to check out her Pinterest boards where she mixes
writing fun with personal fun.
